Effective philanthropy starts at home. We started Artisan Roast to help two groups of people: 1. People suffering from poor quality coffee. 2. Kids in Scotland. You help us do both by spreading the coffee gospel and getting cafes to appreciate the importance of good quality coffee. Michael came to Scotland to start C Project - a progressive youth programme in Scotland to maximise youth potential. He did and it cost him and his mate Dave £65k to get it going. Now we reckon we can run each programme at a cost of £2.5k per kid and Artisan is going to help them do so. Our goal is to have 10 000 kids from Scotland through the programme over the next 10 years. Which means we need to raise £20 million over the next ten years through our business and your custom. It's not about donations, but. We want to earn the money through solid business and to channel our success into a solid future. So, if you reckon we could do something better, please let us know.
