The good people of Ooud Kitchen offered us this space for the month of August. We quickly turned it into 'Rooud Kitchen - the Artisan Roast pop-up shop'

Fearlessly led by Todd Johnston, we craft coffee here with the same care and dedication as our cafe in Broughton Street. However, we also have a great kitchen to play with. Although we're none of us chefs, we all love food and welcomed the opportunity to get in the back to cook and bake the food we love best. Every day we produce the 'Artisan big fat meal of the day, which is a generously sized meal for a very decent £4.50. It's usually a curry and they've become quite popular among the shop workers around the area.

We also have a slew of cakes and muffins baked by the lovely Caroline, formerly of Peter's Yard. Her chocolate and cheese muffins are impressive and she would love you to dive into the spot for one or two.
