Glasgow

Tucked away on one of Glasgow’s coolest streets is Artisan Roast Café and Roastery. The roastery takes up a quarter of downstairs and is the heart of the operation, roasting fine coffees from around the world. The centrepiece is under wooden arches with angels trumpeting to the joy of brew coffee. The seating is varied from church pews to Parisian coffee shop to mooching cushion seats. The food is organic, bloody good and vegetarian sourced from IJ Mellis Cheesemongers, Seb and Milli, Roots and Fruits. We bake our food downstairs in the basement. It's usually an assortment of delicious recipes that remind us of our antipodean childhood.

Artisan Roast Glasgow: Bye lovely customers I'm off to new zealand where the sun is shining, the coffee is delicious and summer is waiting for me. I will keep you all up to date with what a summer really looks like. See you all in a month, Megan.

Artisan Roast Glasgow: FACT: Around 500 BILLION disposable cups are manufactured in a year - that's 75 disposable cups for every single person on the planet. so ya' all need to bring in your keepCup or your own takeaway vessel and we will give you 10% of your coffee. (oh and our takeaway cups are biodegradable - so throw them in with your compost, keep the worms happy!)
