Tucked away on one of Glasgow’s coolest streets is Artisan Roast Café and Roastery. The roastery takes up a quarter of downstairs and is the heart of the operation, roasting fine coffees from around the world. The centrepiece is under wooden arches with angels trumpeting to the joy of brew coffee. The seating is varied from church pews to Parisian coffee shop to mooching cushion seats. The food is organic, bloody good and vegetarian sourced from IJ Mellis Cheesemongers, Seb and Milli, Roots and Fruits.
We bake our food downstairs in the basement. It's usually an assortment of delicious recipes that remind us of our antipodean childhood.
