Artisan Roast was established on Broughton Street in 2007; it's the original. Kees Van Der Westen machine, three espresso blends, a fat single origin menu in the brew bar, open cupping sessions, surf club, meditation sessions, mobile gallery, an ever changing library, music from vinyl to live gigs (and generally impromptu). a "must" if visiting Edinburgh.
Catherine is the manager at the broughton street shop. She has 4 years barista training and loves a good single origin for breakfast.
When she is not making delicious coffee she can be found trying to surf at Dunbar, strumming a guitar or baking at home.
She is currently looking in to changing her name to Caffeine O'Shea.
Christy is true Kiwi who's ancestor arrived in New Zealand land on 4th ship. fact.
A qualified art teacher yet, loves coffee so much she would prefer to make you a flatwhite than teach teenagers
[unless its coffee orientated]

Divides his life between coffee and photography working as a freelance photographer and is just about to start a big project about...coffee.
